Lone Survivor 2014 Review

Mark Wahlberg (Ted), Taylor Kitsch (Battleship), Ben Foster (The Mechanic), Emile Hirsch ( Bonnie and Clyde), and Eric Bana (Closed Circuit) star in this extraordinary war epic about Marcus Luttrell (Wahlberg) and his team who get sent out to capture or kill the leader of the al Qaeda, Ahmad Shahd. This was the best film about war in a long time. It was very intense and the sound mixing and editing was unbelievable. If you get a chance, go out and see this film. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

When Dante Slate Jr, played by comedian Kevin Hart, comes in the picture, he wants them two to fight again after being both retired. This movie is a lot of fun for the entire family. Jobs 2013 Review

Ashton Kutcher is Steve Jobs in this inspiring film about the iconic Steve Jobs who created Apple along with his friends, Steve Wozniak (Josh Gad), Daniel Kottke (Lukas Haas), and Rod Holt (Ron Eldard). Steve Jobs was a college dropout but he could see things no one else could. He took everything to the next level to make it something bigger. Exactly what he did with Apple. Ashton Kutcher gives his best on screen performance as Steve Jobs. I give this movie 4 out of 5 stars.

Jackass: Bad Grandpa 2013 Review

Jackass does it again, but this time, it's not about doing stupid stunts, this movie is focused on one character played by Johnny Knoxville, 85 year-old Irving Zisman. This character that Knoxville plays is a skit from the other Jackass films. In Bad Grandpa, Irving Zisman (Knoxville) takes a trip with his 8 year-old grandson Billy, played by Jackson Nicoll, from Nebraska to North Carolina to take Billy back to his real father. This movie was hilarious, in terms of it being a Jackass related movie. I give this movie 2 out of 5 stars.

12 Years a Slave 2013 Review

Chiwetel Ejiofor plays Solomon Northup, a free black man from up state New York, who gets taken and sold into slavery. His journey is unbelievable as he struggles his way through different slave owners. The first owner who buys Northup was Ford, played by Benedict Cumberbatch. Ford was the nicest out of the other owners. Michael Fassbender played Edwin Epps, a ruthless slave owner. Solomon Northup (Ejiofor) struggles to be free so he can see his family again. This movie is very powerful and very good. Based on a true story. I give this movie 4 out of 5 stars.
